Real Questions is a current concept idea for a ministry at John Wesley.  By design, it is meant to engage Christians and non-Christians alike.

Some questions don’t go away.
They stay with you.

So what do you do with the questions that stay?

THE VISION
Real Questions is a space where honest questions about life, culture, spirituality, and faith are welcomed and explored through open conversation—grounded in Scripture and shaped by grace.

HOW IT WORKS
Each week, we introduce a topic.
You can submit a question—online or in person.
Three questions are selected.
Those individuals briefly share their question and why it matters.
From there, the pastor helps guide a thoughtful, respectful, and grace-filled conversation.
Not every question gets answered—
but every question matters.

WHY THIS EXISTS
We believe mature faith isn’t formed by avoiding hard questions,
but by bringing them honestly before God, Scripture, and community.
This is a space to wrestle, think deeply, and grow in a faith that is real and resilient.

FOR YOU
You don’t have to have it all figured out.
You don’t have to pretend.
Just bring what you’re really wondering.

THE PROMISE
Real questions.
Real conversations.
Honest dialogue rooted in Scripture and shaped by grace.

HOW WE SHOW UP
  • Questions are welcomed
  • We listen to understand, not to win
  • Scripture is our authority; humility is our posture
  • Disagreement is allowed; dishonor is not
  • The goal is formation, not debate

You don’t have to carry your questions alone.
