The gospel is simply good news:
God loves you, Jesus saved you,
and the Holy Spirit empowers you.

(Romans 1:16)

You Have Been Created for Relationship
From the beginning, God created humanity in His image (Genesis 1:27) for a loving relationship with Him and with one another. But sin—our willful turning away from God—broke that perfect relationship. We are born with a spiritual problem which enslaves our wills, leading to separation from God and brokenness in the world.

God Seeks Us Before You Know Him
Thank God for His prevenient grace—the grace of God that goes before us. Before we ever knew Him, God was already at work drawing us to Himself, stirring a desire for goodness, convicting us of our need for a cure, and preparing our hearts to receive Him. No one is beyond the reach of God’s grace (John 6:44; Titus 2:11).

Christ Alone Saves
The good news is that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, came to cure this brokenness. Through His life, sacrificial death on the cross, and resurrection from the grave, Jesus defeated sin and death (Romans 5:8; 2 Corinthians 5:21).
By grace through faith in Christ, we are justified (justifying grace)—made right with God (Ephesians 2:8-9). This is not based on our works, but on the finished work of Jesus. When we respond in faith and connect to Jesus, we are cured through faith of the power of sin and death and given a new identity.

You Are Called to Growing in Holiness
The gospel doesn’t end with forgiveness.  Salvation is not just a moment—it’s a lifelong journey. Through sanctifying grace, the Holy Spirit works in us to renew our minds, purify our hearts, and shape us to be more like Christ.
We’re called to “go on to perfection”not perfection in performance, but only perfect in Jesus. This means we are empowered by the Holy Spirit to grow in love for God and neighbor, becoming holy in heart and action.

You Are Called to Participating in the Journey
God has given us means of graceprayer, Scripture, communion, fasting, Christian fellowship, and acts of mercy—as ways to deepen our relationship with Him. These are not duties to earn grace, but channels through which we experience God’s presence and transformation.

You Can Have Assurance and Hope
In your connection with Jesus believers have full assurance—an inward witness of the Holy Spirit that we righteous with God (Romans 8:16). This assurance gives us confidence to live boldly, serve faithfully, and die peacefully, knowing that nothing can separate us from God’s love (Romans 8:38-39).

In Summary
The gospel first and foremost starts with relationship, it doesn't begin with fear of not getting into heaven. It’s about being made new now—forgiven, freed, and formed in the image of Christ through grace. It is a transformational gospel, calling us to love God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength, and to love our neighbors as ourselves.

All need to be connected.
All can be connected.
All can know they are connected.
All can be connected to the uttermost.
