This Summer 2026, John Wesley is beginning an exciting season of renovation and construction as we prepare our campus for future ministry opportunities.

Phase 1 of our construction project includes renovations and updates to the Sanctuary and Welcome Center, installation of a new chiller system, repairs to the Prayer Chapel exterior wall, construction of a new playground, and improvements to our parking lot.

Sunday Morning Worship

NEW WORSHIP LOCATION:  Beginning June 7, Sunday worship services will be held in the Wesley Activity Center Gym (WAC), which will serve as our temporary Worship Center. Please enter through the WAC doors located to the right of the playground.
Coffee and donuts will still be available each Sunday in multiple locations:
  • WAC Kitchen
  • 2nd Floor Admin Coffee Counter
  • JW Kids Café
  • 3rd Floor Student Ministry Café
  • Parking attendants and volunteers will be available each Sunday to assist guests, direct traffic, and help those with mobility needs.
  • Accessible parking and handicap access will remain available throughout construction.
  • Additional information regarding traffic flow, entrances, exits, and campus maps will be shared as plans are finalized.

Weekday Activities

Church ministry and programs will continue throughout construction.
Temporary Changes
• Church Front Desk will relocate to the Pavilion Office.
• Church activities between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. will continue in the Pavilion.
• New weekday traffic patterns will be implemented for school drop-off and pick-up.
Summer Ministries Continue
• Vacation Bible School (VBS)
• Armor of Sports
• Fine Arts Camp
• Other summer ministry activities

Serve During Construction

This season creates a wonderful opportunity to serve and help guests feel welcome.

Current Volunteer Needs:
• Greeters (2 per service)
• Parking lot attendants (4-6 per service)
• Ushers (4-8 per service)
• Hospitality hosts (2 per Sunday)
• Guest services team members (Multiple 3 hour shifts Monday-Thursday)

Will worship services continue during construction?
Yes. Worship services will continue every Sunday in the temporary Worship Center located in the Wesley Activity Center Gym.
Will parking still be available?
Yes. Parking will remain available throughout construction, and volunteers will help direct traffic and assist guests.
Will ministries and programs continue?
Yes. VBS, Armor of Sports, Fine Arts Camp, and other ministries will continue as scheduled.
Are construction dates final?
No. All timelines are estimates and may change due to construction, permitting, weather, or other factors.
