Bring your Estimate of Giving Cards (EOGs) on November 9th for I LOVE MY CHURCH Sunday!
At John Wesley Methodist Church, generosity is more than a financial gift—it’s an act of worship and discipleship. Our 2025–26 campaign, Partnering in Generosity, invites every household to prayerfully consider how God is calling them to give.

Through your generosity, we will:
  • Deepen discipleship through Life Groups, Sunday Groups, and new ministries.
  • Expand kingdom impact with greater ministry efficiency and outreach.
  • Elevate the JW brand through community engagement and JWCS growth.
  • Launch Phase One of our Campus Master Plan.

Partnering in Generosity is not simply about supporting a budget—it is about Spirit-led sacrifice, making space in our lives and finances for God’s call, and investing in the mission of connecting people to Jesus through Spirit, Mind, and Body.  Your generosity sustains the work of today while preparing us for tomorrow. Together, we step forward as disciples, committed to Christ and His mission through John Wesley Methodist Church.

PREPARING TO PARTNER WITH GOD

Examine your personal giving and how it reflects your commitment to Christ.

1. Between now and I Love My Church Sunday, examine your personal giving and how it reflects your commitment to Christ.
2. Ask yourself, how would my faith grow, if I was more generous with God’s Kingdom.
3. Ask God, "Where do you want me to be in my giving?".
4. Decide what percentage of your income to give consistently.
5. Complete your Estimate of Giving Card and return it to John Wesley on or before I Love My Church Sunday.
(Official Estimate of Giving Cards will be mailed to members.)
"YOU WILL BE ENRICHED IN EVERY WAY TO BE GENEROUS IN EVERY WAY..."
- 2 Corinthians 9:11a

WHY TALK ABOUT MONEY?

It's a spiritual issue.
Generosity is directly linked to our journey of discipleship. How we use our resources is primarily a spiritual issue, not a financial one. The quality of that decision is determined by the spiritual condition of our hearts.

Jesus talked about it.
Jesus spoke openly about money and possessions. About two- thirds of the parables and about one in every ten verses in the Gospels address this very issue. As followers of Jesus, we should not be reluctant to talk about giving as an outward expression of our love for Christ.

It's not about the budget.
In generosity campaigns, it can be tempting to approach the financial needs of the church as if we were simply funding the budget. When we partner in generosity, we acknowledge that living generously is an inseparable part of our following Christ. God does not need our money; rather, we need to give it as an act of gratitude and trust.

It's about trust.
As we learn to trust God more and follow Christ's teaching more faithfully, we learn to depend less on ourselves and more on God, relinquishing attitudes and habits that impede our relationship with God.
